2024 Internship Program
We have taken interns every summer since 2019
We are accepting applications for our 2024 Internship. We will take up to TWO interns in 2024 for the summer months…EXACT dates will be confirmed but it is usually Mid June to Mid September
The Information
This is an unpaid position, but we will provide food and board, experience and laughter! If you are applying for hours and/or experience for college then we will also provide you signed paperwork to meet those requirements
Activities Include
Fencing
Moving Fences
Soil Sampling
Pasture Mapping
Branding
Health checks
Moving Cattle
Riding the Range
Hiking the Range
Sorting
Mundane daily tasks
For the time you are here you are essentially part of the family so we also expect daily chores, just like the kids! Keep your space tidy, clean up after yourself, dishwasher and kitchen duties, daily ranch chores etc.
Skills needed
IDEALLY you will be an Agricultural Student (not essential but preferred)
You must be a hardworking team player, not scared of getting your hands dirty
Horse riding experience is a bonus but not mandatory
Love of the outdoors and nature
Not scared of being dirty and tired and having no set routine - cows don’t always work to a timetable!
Essential Requirements
Must be over 18
Must be eligible to partake in the Internship in Canada. (Our last interns were from France)
Be physically fit to work long days in varying weather
Must be able to commit to the whole duration

Activities
When you aren’t working (yes we do allow some time off!) we are surrounded by lakes and rivers galore. Go paddlebaording or Kayaking. Or disappear into the wilderness for some alone time. Kelowna is also 2 hours away if you crave some city life. We are also right beside the Wine Capital of BC if wine tasting is your thing.
